Azrael

Azrael is a young, black and beautiful little cat. She loves attention, as long as it is on her premises. She is a great hunter, and caught her first mouse 9th march 2006. Even though Azrael is a clever cat she has some bad habits. She loves to pat on our clothes. Especially wool clothes.

Unfortunately, I don't know where Azrael comes from. She was delivered at our door an evening, together with her sister Bellatrix. It was my sister that had taken them from the veterinary at Eidsvoll. They were left there in a bucket by a stranger, and was going to be put to sleep if noone would take care of them. Fortunately they ended up at our house. When we got them they were around 4-6 weeks old, way too young to leave their mother.

When they came to us they were very silent and careful. But it didn't take long before they trusted us, and we became their parents. At first they had trouble with eating and drinking. But crushed can food kind of worked. The drinking part was most difficult, because they put their noses deep down in the cat milk.

Azrael grew up and became a wonderful cat. Unfortnately her sister did not. She got various infections over her whole body. After many veterinary visits and medication we realised that nothing could be done for her.
